Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Research Associate for our Analytical Chemistry department to become a member of our growing analytical support team. The Senior Research Associate will work as part of our team to develop/validate analytical methods and maintain analytical instrumentation in support of our molecular biologists, chemists, and fermentation scientists.
Requirements
- B.S./M.S. degree in chemistry or related discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in small molecule quantification using LC/MS/MS is required.
- Experience in sample extraction techniques such as liquid-liquid extraction, solid phase extraction and protein precipitation is required.
- Experience in complex LC/MS/MS method development is desired.
- Knowledge in operation and maintenance of analytical instrumentation, especially LC/MS/MS is desired.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Good teamwork, communication and data handling skills.
- Energetic, highly self-motivated personality and the ability to work efficiently and productively in a start-up company environment.
